Energy Project of the Year – Retail & Commercial 2024
We won Energy Project of the Year – Retail & Commercial at The Energy Awards 2024 for our sustainability initiatives across the Society. We've invested over £8m in energy efficiencies, reducing usage by 11%.
In addition to this, we are installing more than 100 additional solar panels at our head office site in Warwick, combined with our existing solar panels, these will generate approximately 90,000 kilowatt hours of energy per year!

We have taken home the Energy Project of the Year accolade at the edie 2023 Awards in recognition of our work to create a sustainable future.
Business of the Year 2021
We've been named the Business of the Year, in recognition of how we've provided support to our local communities whilst continuing to deliver positive environmental impacts through our operation, and products and services.
Social Sustainability and Community Development
We've won the Social Sustainability and Community Development award for our support for community energy, our foodbank support, home deliveries and community restart funds.
Fair Tax Mark
In 2024 we were once again awarded the Fair Tax Mark, recognition of our commitment to transparency over tax disclosures and paying the right amount of tax.
As a values-led and ethical organisation, we believe that we should pay the taxes that are due and not engage in aggressive tax avoidance schemes, even if legal.
In 2014, we were amongst a handful of pioneers to secure a Fair Tax Mark, which certifies that we “pay the right amount of tax in the right place at the right time.” Our tax disclosures are reviewed every two years, since our first accreditation in 2014, we have been re-certified every time.
