Piri Piri prawns with Aioli
Serves 4 - Ready in 40 minutes

Tasty Piri Piri Prawns - with garlic aioli. As served at the Fairer Living Festival!
Ingredients
- 1 pk Co-op Irresistible raw prawns, defrosted in fridge overnight
- 2 tbsp Co-op Irresistible rapeseed oil plus more for frying the prawns
- 2 tsp Bart Piri Piri spice
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- ½ jar Co-op Mayonnaise
- 4 crushed garlic cloves or 1 tsp Bart garlic paste
Method
- Marinate the prawns for approximately 30 minutes in the rapeseed oil, lemon juice and Piri Piri spice
- Meanwhile make the aioli by mixing the mayonnaise with the garlic and mustard
- Pan fry the defrosted and marinated prawns in hot oil until they turn from grey to pink (about 5 mins)
- Serve with the aioli
