Grilled Macaroni and Bacon Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 8 rashers Co-op British smoked streaky bacon
  • 20g Co-op unsalted butter
  • 4 slices Co-op Irresistible sourdough
  • 400g Co-op macaroni cheese

Method

  1. Cook the bacon under a preheated grill for 4 mins, turning halfway
  2. Set aside
  3. Spread the butter over 1 side of the bread, then turn over 2 slices so the buttered side is underneath
  4. Divide the macaroni cheese between them and top with the bacon, then the remaining bread, buttered-side up
  5. Heat a large frying pan on a medium heat and cook the sandwiches for 4-5 mins on each side, until the bread is golden and the filling is warmed through
  6. Cut each toastie into 4 and serve
