Our Travel Branch Doors Are Temporarily Closing but We’re Still Here for You
Published 5 Nov 2020 in Society Announcements
What a rollercoaster we have all been on this year! There have been some lows, some tremendous highs, the little things suddenly became the really big things, and the value and importance of family, friends and our communities have risen above everything.
So, after a few summer months of opening your Co-op Travel shops safely and feeling like life was gradually getting back to some new normal, we are sorry to say, following the Government's announcement on Saturday that we will be temporarily closing the doors of all of our travel branches from Thursday 5 November until early December.
For those that have bookings in November and December
If you have a booking that falls within the lockdown time frame, we want to reassure you that we will take all the necessary steps to help you rearrange your holiday or obtain a refund or refund credit note. We would really appreciate it if you let us get in touch with you rather than calling us at this time, as our teams are flat out trying to help everyone with their plans. We are working through bookings in departure date order and we will be in contact with you.
So what happens now?
As we move forward into the final months of 2020, we will revert back to running a virtual travel business. Our travel experts will continue to work from home and there will be a skeleton team in place, operating Monday- Saturday 9am-5pm.
What does 2021 look like?
One thing's for sure when travel is back on the map, booking a holiday is the perfect fix we think we’ll all need. If you’re wanting to plan ahead, I would really suggest getting something in the diary as spaces are filling up fast! 2021 and 2022 holidays on sale with low deposits from £49pp and flexible amendment policies. It’s the perfect time to start paying towards it each month, call our travel experts on 01922 234 400.
