The Fairer Living Festival is a free-to-attend-event, which is open to everyone. It will bring together social enterprises, environmental organisations, community groups, charities, local producers and colleagues from across Midcounties to harness the power of co-operation in creating a fairer, greener and more equal society.
Phil Ponsonby, Chief Executive, The Midcounties Co-operative, said: “We’re inviting everyone to join us at the Fairer Living Festival and be a part of creating a brighter tomorrow. There will also be a host of family fun events and entertainment including a farmers market - with over 25 local suppliers sampling and selling local produce - children’s fun area with face painting and design your own t-shirt activities, live music and cooking demonstrations. A unique mass art project will also take place on the day as well as a special jobs fair.
